Overview

We’re looking for a highly-independent Paid Search / SEM Specialist (3–5 years experience) to own the setup, execution, optimization, and reporting of paid search campaigns across Google and Bing. This role will be focused primarily on search marketing performance, including keyword strategy, audience targeting, bidding, bid automation, and conversion optimization, with additional support across broader digital paid media channels. Real estate or healthcare experience is a plus but not required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll help create comprehensive digital media strategies for our clients, covering all aspects of their digital presence including paid, earned, owned and shared touch points. Your clients may range from branding awareness, acquisition, and retention of customers.

  • Plan, build, launch, and optimize paid search campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing).
  • Conduct keyword research and develop high-performance keyword lists.
  • Execute bidding and budget strategies to maximize ROI and meet performance goals.
  • Implement tracking, conversion measurement, and campaign QA.
  • Identify opportunities through search query reports and audience segmentation.
  • Run A/B testing for copy, extensions, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
  • Pull and interpret performance data; provide actionable insights to improve results.
  • Support paid display, social, and other digital campaigns as needed.
  • Collaborate with creative, analytics, and account teams on integrated campaigns.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Build dashboards and reports in Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio or similar.
  • Track KPIs (CPC, CPA, ROAS, Quality Score, impression share, etc.).
  • Present performance results and optimization recommendations to internal teams and clients when applicable

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 3–5 years hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing).
  • Deep understanding of SEM best practices including keyword planning, match types, bidding strategies, and conversion tracking.
  • Experience with analytics tools (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio).
  • Comfortable optimizing toward KPIs and interpreting performance metrics.
  • Strong communication skills & able to present insights and recommendations clearly and effectively.
  • Comfortable managing multiple clients/campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred

  • Experience in real estate or healthcare verticals (but not required).
  • Certifications in Google Ads / Bing Ads / Analytics.
  • Experience with bid automation tools and scripts.
  • Familiarity with landing page optimization best practices.
